BEVERAGES: Castle Danger Brewery (two Harbors, MN) returns as the host beer
Premium NA beers and soft drinks are also available.
Consider Biking to the Festival:
Bike Chippewa Valley & Jeremy Gragert are coordinating an organized Bike Ride along the Chippewa River State Trail - Hobbs Arena to 4 Mile /WHYS Fest The Festival is just a hop, skip and a jump from the bike path! Contact: Jeremy Gragert: jgragert@gmail.com

On you own: take the Chippewa River State Trail toward Caryville, one mile passed the HWY 85 rest stop is cemetery road, stop, turn left and look for “WHYS Fest” signs. (WHYS Fest/4 Mile Restaurant is 1.2 miles from cemetery road)
What's new in 2025
- Contra Dance: Contra Dance with caller Mattie Rynkiewicz & WHYS Contra Dance Band. Caller Mattie Rynkiewicz welcomes all levels of participation and all ages to learn contra dancing. “I like to teach everyone no matter their age or ability, everyone can contra dance” So stop into the contra dance tent. Mattie Rynkiewicz.
- Dogs: Supervised, leashed & friendly dogs are a welcome addition to WHYS Fest 2025.
Dog owners are required to cleanup after their four legged friends. You are responsible for your dog. - No Plastic Bottles: WHYS Festival has taken plastic water bottles off the beverage menu.
We encouraging folks to bring their own water bottle. A Water Station is available on site.
Kids Activities: Black Canvas Face painting, Bean bags toss, Horse shoes(rubber) and Hammocks. Everyone is welcome. The bean bags, horseshoes & hammocks are first come first serve so remember to take turns, that goes for the adults too.

Homegrown Instruments: Boxconcerto.net and Oconomowoc Flutes are bringing tunable gourd instruments and hand carved flutes
