Keynote Bruce Lecture by Aaron Phipps MBE - Blood, Sweat and Wheelchairs

Exciting agenda - with talks from Professor Jerry Nolan on NAP-7, The Bottom Line annual review of critical care trials, Dr Andrew Cumpstey and extreme physiology. Mental health in the ICU, Trainee presentations with the Scott Prize and Poster Competition. Discussion around organ donation and the role of bereavement follow-up. Difficult airway and MAST update, PEACH study and RAFT presentation. 

Scott Prize (junior doctors/specialty trainees)

Submission of Audit/QI – A number will be selected for oral presentation at summer WICS, from which a committee with select a winner.

Case Report (Any discipline and grade)

Submission of a case report summary of 200 words max, from which 3 will be selected for oral presentation at summer WICS. A winner will be selected on the day. The others will be invited to present a poster at summer WICS.
