Active Outdoor Spaces Circle 2: Harvesting Our Stories
You’re invited to come back together with the Active Outdoor Spaces Circle as we share what we’ve discovered from conversations with our communities, colleagues and networks.
During September, we all agreed that it would be great to 'Scatter the Seeds': asking questions, listening to experiences and gathering stories from our communities and our networks about what being active means, why our outdoor spaces matter, and what helps or prevents people from using them.
October's circle is our opportunity to bring this learning together.
This informal, collaborative session will give us space to share what we’ve heard, explore the themes emerging across Wigan Borough, really showcase and celebrate what is already working and identify the barriers and opportunities our communities are telling us about.
Together, we’ll begin turning those conversations into shared priorities and practical next steps for the Active Outdoor Spaces Circle, with the opportunity to share our work on bigger platform at the next VCFSE 'Big Meet' at the end of October. If you want to really showcase the importance of Active Outdoor Spaces to your community, and secure future support from funders and the public sector, this is your opportunity - don't miss out!
Come with your stories, insights and ideas, whether you’ve gathered one conversation or many. Every contribution matters.
