Save the date! Social Enterprise Day in Wigan 

Join us on Thursday 21st November as we celebrate National Social Enterprise Day with a special event at The Atrium, Wigan Town Hall from 10:30 AM to 3PM!

We’re excited to partner with Wigan Council to host a day focused on social enterprise, community impact, and the future of sustainable business. 

Agenda

10am to 11am - Intro to the day from David Baxter and Caeryn Collins. To include:

• Feedback from recent Social Enterprise survey
• Proper Good programme updates
• Wigan Borough Social Enterprise Place status and what it means

11am to 12pm - Room for Dreaming

• Welcome & Overview: Introduction to The Fire Within The Forge Cultural Manifesto, focusing on the Room For Dreaming chapter.
• Presentation & Panel Discussion: Insights from social enterprise and cultural sector partners, highlighting themes from Room For Dreaming.
• Q&A: Open floor for questions from the audience, encouraging discussion and feedback.
• Final Words & Ways to Engage: Closing remarks, with information on how attendees can further engage with the Room For Dreaming theme and Cultural Manifesto.

12pm to 1pm - Lunch
1pm to 1.30pm - Celebration of the Pitch and Pie winners
1.30pm to 2pm - Businesses giving back
2pm to 3pm - Hear from a number of other Social Enterprises and their work
