Individual Adaptive Surfing Sessions

A 90-minute adaptive surfing experience for anyone aged 7 and upwards who would like to experience the joy and excitement of the waves alongside experienced and caring staff. *

These sessions are designed for children, young people and adults who identify with additional needs meaning that they will benefit from an individualised and tailored session.  We are able to accommodate a range of physical, cognitive, behavioural and emotional needs, but please contact us to discuss if you require more information.

Your session will include provision to ensure that the participant's individual needs are met, including safety/equipment (including specialist equipment where needed), tempo and pace to meet the needs of the participant, adjustments for sensory needs, and accommodations for communication, behavioural and emotional needs.

Sessions are available on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, during term time. If parents require us to communicate directly with schools to sanction time out of school, we are happy to help.

All equipment is provided and parents/carers are required to be present throughout sessions.

* Staffing numbers will be a minimum of 1:1 but we will evaluate the needs of each participant individually and staff each session as deemed necessary according to need and sea conditions on the day.

Staff are qualified ISA Surf Instructors with additional Adaptive Surf Coach training and Surf Lifesaver Qualified.
