Wild Arts Opera Evening at Falconhurst
Fri 28 Jun 2024 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Falconhurst, TN8 5NR
Description
Following their sold-out shows in 2022 and 2023, Wild Arts returns for a third year to the beautiful garden at Falconhurst with a completely new opera show.
Our opera evening is a love story built around favourite opera arias, duets and ensembles, sung by the stars of tomorrow and played by a string quintet of top UK chamber musicians.
Arrive from 5.30pm and you'll be welcomed with a cocktail included in your ticket. Choose your place in the lovely gardens and set up your picnic. You are welcome to bring tables, chairs, picnic blankets, candelabras and whatever else you'd like.
The performance will start at 6.30pm against the backdrop of the beautiful house, and audience chairs will be set out for you. There will be an hour's interval to continue your picnic, and carriages will be from 9.30pm.
We are expecting a beautiful summer's evening, but if the weather is not kind, the performance will be in the church which is ten minutes walk from Falconhurst.
Wild Arts is a new company that brings world-class opera to locations often overlooked by others. Additionally, it nurtures young talent and runs an enriching programme for primary schools. More details on wildarts.org.uk.
Parking is free. Practical details will be in the ticket confirmation email. We will email you nearer the time with details of music and performers.
Please book early to make sure of your place.
