An evening of magical opera at Painswick Rococo Garden
We are now confident that the weather will be fine on Friday and have released some more tickets.
In mid July 2026 we will be returning to the Rococo Gardens, bringing a full production for the first time; our fully staged and costumed The Marriage of Figaro, with orchestra. Please do pencil in the date (probably 14th or 16th July) and book early, as we anticipate high demand for this fantastic opera. If you join our mailing list you will be among the first to know when we release tickets.
This year's show
Wild Arts bring their opera evening to the beautiful Bowling Green for a third year on 1st August 2025
You are welcome to arrive from 6.15pm to enjoy the gardens, set up your picnic, and open the bubbly. The performance will start at 7pm with a 45-minute interval, and will be finished soon after 9pm.
We are expecting a beautiful summer's evening, but if the weather is not kind the performance will be in Painswick church.
An unalloyed delight to hear such musical perfection in one short show. And the string quintet presentation was so brilliant I now want to hear all my favourite operas performed that way. Anyone not having attended really missed something special. Do yourself a favour and buy a ticket next time the Wild Arts group are in town. I know I will. Review of our 2023 Opera Evening show.
A joy beyond all expectation - sassily delivered and outstandingly well sung. Michael White on our 2023 production of The Elixir of Love
Tickets £35.
