We have invited Orlando Jopling to bring his new opera company Wild Arts to the dell at Smoky Farm, for one night only on Saturday 18th June.
Mozart's Così fan tutte will be sung in English by 6 stunning young singers from the Royal Opera House, English National Opera and other houses, with the orchestral score played by a mini-orchestra of six chamber musicians.
You are welcome to arrive from 4pm to set up your picnic, enjoy your drinks, and arrange your chairs or blankets to view from. Act I will start at 6pm and there will be an hour's interval for your main picnic, followed by Act II which will end by 930pm.
Please bring your own chairs, blankets, picnics and drinks to enjoy throughout the evening.

About the production
Mozart’s delightful comedy of young lovers tying themselves in romantic knots is given a new lease of life in this brand new Wild Arts production. The action is transposed from 18th century Naples to 1970s Cambridge, where a bunch of buttoned-up students are about to get a tutorial in fidelity...
