Let me set the scene…
You wake up on a crisp autumn morning to views of the mountains and ancient woodland of Snowdonia National Park. Home for the next two days is a large stone bothy nestled in the rolling hills.
You have a weekend packed full of adventure ahead of you, from learning a range of Bushcraft skills including fire lighting, wood carving and wild cooking, to hiking, wild swimming and more, all whilst celebrating the beginning of a brand new season.

Tonight you and a group of like-minded women will gather around the campfire to set your intentions for the month, and rest of the year ahead. You know you are going to be well fed, well looked after and make some amazing memories that will last a lifetime. You can’t wait to get started!

Included in your ticket:
-Two nights in the shared room of a traditional stone bothy in the heart of Snowdonia National Park

- 4x hearty vegetarian meals including breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday, and breakfast on Sunday.
- Range of snacks and hot drinks as well as a homemade cake.
- A variety of instructed Bushcraft workshops including fire lighting, wild cooking, foraging and wood carving.
- Guided local hike including the opportunity for a wild swim.
- Ceremonial campfire with intention setting session.

Things to note:
- Accommodation is shared with bunk beds, it’s simple but the best of a bothy experience with a log burner, compost toilets, showers, a modern kitchen and dining room included.
- Campervan tickets are also available at a reduced cost if you have a van you are happy staying in. Campervan ticket holders will have full access to all facilities and activities, you just need somewhere to sleep!
- Arrivals are from 7pm on Friday night and a welcome talk will take place at 9pm. The full event kicks off on Saturday morning however, so if you are unable to join until Saturday morning that’s fine! Just let me know in advance when you are hoping to arrive.
- Due to the nature of our planned activities no more than a moderate level of fitness is required, the hike will be a low level circular 3 mile route, so nothing too challenging!
- Unfortunately dogs are not permitted in the bothy so pooches will have to stay at home this time.
- Meals and snacks will be provided and a range of dietary requirements can be catered for, please ensure you send over any dietary requirements upon booking your ticket.
- Refunds are unavailable for this event unless it is cancelled, tickets can be resold as long as the organiser is made aware.
- Payment plans are available upon request, please email eva@wilderhorizons.co.uk to discuss plans.
- This event is for everyone who identifies as a woman. If you have any questions about this please do get in touch.
