Description
Come join me in the most relaxed and lovely way!
Escape the indoors and come and immerse yourself in nature with a delightful foraging adventure in the heart of Staffordshire. Together, we'll embark on a journey to immerse ourselves in what nature has to offer.
Led by Emma, from Wild Pickle who is a passionate forager and lover of wild food, we will begin a journey into the edibles that are all around us. It's an opportunity to connect with the natural world, awaken your senses and nurture a beautiful appreciation for the flora that surrounds us.
During our walk, we’ll use our senses to learn to identify various plant species. We will have the chance to learn some of what is edible and what is definitely not!
While we are foraging, we'll also delve into the ethics and etiquette of gathering our wild food, whilst being careful and sustainable.
I hope by the time our walk draws to a close, you'll be inspired and armed with lots of ideas on how to mix a few wild greens into your culinary repertoire. We will finish our journey with some wild food tasters.
So, bring a flask, wear some layers appropriate for our wonderful weather, walking boots, waterproofs if it is wet, and prepare for a day of exploration. Our adventure will proceed rain or shine unless conditions dictate we need to cancel.
Detailed instructions will be provided closer to the event date, ensuring you're fully prepared.
Come and let's get Outside!
