ITC Certificate in Outdoor First Aid

This 2 day course is suitable for those working in (or planning to work in) Environmental Education such as Forest School Teachers, Outdoor Activity Instructors (as a requirement for keeping ML, SPA and BCU qualifications in date) etc and those interested in being able to respond to those ill or injured in a potentially remote situation.

The course will include:

• Incident procedure,
• Airway management,
• Heart problems,
• Circulation problems,
• Head, Torso and Limb Injuries,
• Medical Emergencies,
• Environmental concerns,
• Cold and Heat injuries,
• First Aid kits and
• PTSD

Note: The course takes place at a private venue on Dartmoor which is located to the west of Buckfast. Approximate location shown below in map however full joining instructions and directions will be issued on booking. 

NB From where you park at the main house there is some walking on uneven terrain to the Deer Park cabin where the training takes place so this may not be easily accessible for those with mobility issues. Please contact us for more information.
