Mirrors & Dreams, Moonlight on Water

This programme invites you into the wild sanctuary of the temperate Atlantic rainforest on Dartmoor, for an immersive trail designed to help us remember and reconnect to our deepest dreaming for ourselves and the world. We will take a compass bearing from the deeper listening and attention we give to the ‘wild others’ that lie in wait for you in the wild valley. This is the kind of wayfinding that does not involve map-reading, more allowing yourself to follow whatever animal might be living in your chest.

Together we will both create and discern the disturbance in the field that our souls are longing for. Be warned, this is a certain kind of trouble-making which may well disrupt your everyday life and expectations. The process we will invite in, is based on amplifying this disruption, placing a trust in your capacity to find your way to a deeper stride into the Mystery, a pathway that usually leads to more meaning and purpose.

Together we will practice the Way of Council to deepen our conversation with the world, and each other, and we will harness the mysteries of the Art of Mirroring to crack us open to the possibility of truly belonging, to ourselves and the wild world. This might be both alluring and edgy, but also enlivening and even ecstatic. Take note, life may well never be the same again – which may of course be exactly what you are looking for.

There will be solo wanderings on the land, wild conversations with both humans and non-humans, time spent with the wild river, the night, dreamwork, free-writing, song, story and poetry. All our practices will shift consciousness, and invite the deep imagination, bringing our own soul into dialogue with the Anima Mundi, the soul of the world.

Venue:

The event will take place near Newbridge on Dartmoor in Devon, UK and is in a beautiful camp setting, with basic facilities. Please note, this is not glamping, accommodation is in tents (your own or hired from us), and there is a simple infrastructure of compost toilets and group shelters.
