The wheel is turning, and finally, darkness is reclaiming its throne.
The Autumn Equinox marks a significant moment of change. We can no longer ignore the nights closing in, or the familiar call of autumn in the rustle of the leaves or the chill of the breeze.
If we listen, we will feel the slow drawing down of energy, grounding us and asking us to pause, and to reflect on the journey into darkness that we’re about to take.
Join us for a seasonal walk on beautiful Stockbridge Down, a sacred space of rare butterflies, birds and ancient burial mounds, where we’ll slow down, listen to the wisdom coming from the earth, and carve out time to move into autumn with intention.
What to expect
- A mindful, circular walk with sweeping views across the Test Valley (around 90 minutes)
- Moments of quiet to pause and reflect
- Simple activities and rituals to guide you into a deeper connection with nature and the season
- Stories of legend and folklore
- Gentle terrain with some short inclines and uneven paths
Stockbridge Down is only accessible by car. If you don’t have your own vehicle please email me before booking, as I may be able to offer you a lift. hello@emilymonsellholden.com.
