Summer Solstice on the Beach
Celebrate the Summer Solstice with the Wild Women on beautiful Fintra Beach near Killybegs, Donegal. This unforgettable coastal weekend includes beach fires, dancing on the sand, sea swimming, and a stunning boat trip beneath the Sliabh Liag cliffs. We’ll also visit Silver Strand and finish with a late lunch at the Rusty Mackerel before heading home.
We’ll be staying in a charming 1930s beach house right by the sea, with stunning views and direct access to the sandy shores of Fintra Beach. The house has five bedrooms opening off the main living room: two doubles, two singles, and one mixed room with a double bed and bunk beds. There is also space for up to four small tents in the garden.
Parking is limited, and access to the house and beach is via a very steep single-lane road. Van parking is not yet confirmed, as overnight parking in the adjacent beach car park depends on Council approval and a possible 2m height barrier. If needed, we may arrange car sharing from Killybegs.
