 Curious about the Wild Women but not quite ready for a full camp? This is the perfect way to experience the magic, meet our welcoming community and enjoy a little adventure close to home.

As the leaves begin to change and day and night are equally balanced at the Equinox, we’ll spend time in the forest immersing ourselves in the sounds and smells of nature. We will wander through the trees, foraging autumnal bounty and maybe identifying fungi as we go. There will also be an optional swim under the trees at the Hermitage, a stunning spot and one of my favourites in Northern Ireland. 

After a day in the wild, we’ll gather for the kind of generous feast Wild Women days are known for: sizzling favourites from the BBQ, abundant seasonal salads, fresh breads and irresistible homemade desserts. If you’ve joined us before, you’ll already know how good the food is. If this is your first time, come hungry—you’re in for a treat.

Cost: £35.00 per person. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Dogs on leads are welcome.  

What to bring: a camp chair or mat to sit on, swimming gear including rock shoes if you want to swim, beverage of choice (tea and coffee provided)

Meeting Point: Tollymore carpark at 1:00 PM. Please note there is an additional £5.00 parking fee payable on entry, so carsharing is recommended.

These events are very popular, and tickets are limited to 30 participants. Come along and say hello!

Terms and Conditions

If the weather forecast is rotten (always a possibility in NI) we will reschedule, and refunds will be available. If you cancel more than 48 hours before the event, refunds are available. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 48 hours of the event as food will have been bought.

Come as you are. Bring your sense of adventure. We’ll take care of the rest.
