Puca Festival Weekend
A Wild Samhain Weekend at Púca Festival, Trim
As the nights draw in and the veil between worlds thins, come away with the Wild Women of the Woods NI for a magical Samhain weekend on the banks of the River Boyne. In the birthplace of Ireland’s ancient Halloween tradition, we’ll experience the Púca Festival together as the shape-shifting Púca and her otherworldly companions bring the night to life through folklore, food, myth, music and spectacular fire performances.
On Friday evening, dressed in Púca costumes created at our optional Belfast workshop, we will follow the procession to Trim Castle. On Saturday evening, we will travel to Athboy for the lighting of the Samhain fire and music from Kila. During the day, explore Trim’s craft and food market or book additional festival events.
We will stay in two self-catering Courtyard Houses at Knightsbrook Hotel and Spa, an easy walk from the festivities in Trim. Each house sleeps eight people across three en-suite twin and triple bedrooms. Our stay includes use of the hotel swimming pool, with sauna sessions available to book separately.
