This is Me Launch and Workshop

‘This is Me’ is an arts engagement project and part of Wildworks’ Hello Stranger’ programme.

You are warmly invited to the launch of 'This is me' at Pentire, hosted by the National Trust. Join the artists, National Trust team, and fellow members of the WI for refreshments and a 'first look' at this compelling new work of visual art, followed by a relaxed creative workshop led by the artists Melanie and Caroline:

‘The Place Your Heart Belongs’

- a visual art workshop.

Where do you come from? Where would you like to go?

Join us to share travellers tales or stories of home and create your very own suitcase souvenir label inspired by a place you love.

Your label will be added to the ‘This Is Me’ installation.

Workshop duration 2 hours.

‘This is Me’ is the title of an arts engagement project comprising multiple art forms, including: storytelling, dance, painting, ceramics, writing, and film. The artists worked with women from the Women’s Institute in Hayle over several months, using different creative mediums to explore their personal stories.

‘This is Me’ set out to uncover stories of connection to place, to Cornwall and lands far beyond its borders and beaches.
