Willow Swallows Workshop

Sun 19 Jul 2026 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM Guardians of Hollow Meadow, Stoke Bliss, WR15 8RY

Join us for a relaxing afternoon in the meadow, making your own willow swallow sculpture!

I'm delighted to be partnering with the Guardians of Hollow Meadow, to offer this workshop at their new event space, set on a beautiful 3-acre meadow in Stoke Bliss, Worcestershire.

You'll be guided in weaving your own swallow from sustainably grown natural willow - they look great hung on a wall, garden fence or mounted on a pole to swoop around your flower beds.

This hands-on workshop is a great introduction to traditional willow weaving techniques and is suitable for complete beginners.

The workshop will be taught in a small, friendly group with a maximum of 8 people, with all tools and materials supplied. No previous experience is required, and this workshop uses shorter thin willow for weaving, making it easier for those with less hand strength.

We'll include a short break for everyone to stretch their fingers, drinks and biccies will be included!

Access to the meadow is on foot only, and the ground can be muddy and uneven in places. There is parking available a couple of minutes walk away, full directions will be sent to all attendees before the event.

Learn some traditional crafting skills and take home your own unique creation.

Bookings will close on Friday 10th July - book your place now!
