Winchester Green Open Homes

During Winchester Green Week visit homes in the Winchester area that have had green upgrades, including solar panel and heat pumps.

• • Find out how you can reduce your home’s energy use and carbon impact.
  • Talk to the residents - find out their experience of having these energy saving measures installed.
    

Three/Four homes  to visit, each with half hourly or one1 hourly timeslots, between 10am - 1pm. Please keep checking back as more homes are added in the run up to the event.

• xx St Swithun Street,Winchester, SO23 9JP, a 17th entury home in the heart of Winchester. The owners have made modifications including solar panels (hidden in a valley on the roof), sympathetic insulation, magnetic double glazing and are having a heat pump installed next month.
• xx Bereweeke Avenue, Winchester SO22 6BH, a 4 bed detached home in Winchester with a heat pump installed in 2022.
• x Springfield Close, Colden Common, SO21 1SU, a home in Colden Common fitted with a heat pump, solar panels, additional insulation, EV car charger and converter so the car can be charged from the solar panels.
