Wincle Beer Festival 2025
Fri 4 Jul 2025 5:00 PM - Sat 5 Jul 2025 11:45 PM
Wincle Brewery, SK11 0QE
Description
Regulars will know we do love our Beer Festival! We pour heart and soul into our main event of the year and our 2025 version is back with a bang featuring new beers, bands, foodies and camping!
Located in the heart of Wincle, the festival is once again centred in the field right outside the brewery - an idyllic location with stunning scenery and fronting the River Dane. The large marquee will house over 35 ales, ciders and kegged beers, with Gin, Prosecco & wine available at a separate bar. Throughout the opening evening and the next day there will be live bands, tug of war, face painting and dancing.
We have worked hard sourcing local pop up eateries who have met our taste challenge - and we are proud to have found a selection of gourmets who are guaranteed to tickle the taste buds and will keep you well fed throughout the festival - from breakfast to supper. Offering a range of culinary experiences; all food is cooked fresh and right in front of your eyes; there will be something for everyone.
Offering a family feel, with a laid back vibe in the middle of glorious countryside this is a real date for the diary.
Camping will be available - strictly on a pre-booked basis. Book early as we always sell out!
PLUS GLAMPING! Following the success of last years trial of bell tents we are delighted to announce that we are able to extend the offering of Luxury Bell Tent accommodation in priority locations for the duration of the festival with also free priority access to showers. You can pre-register as there are limited tents.

FAQs
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This is a family event so there are no age restrictions on entry. However, alcohol will only be served to those over the age of 18; please be prepared to show ID when asked. Wristbands (issued with all entry tickets) must also be worn by all for the duration of the event. All children must have a ticket too and will also be given a wristband.
What do I need to do when I arrive at the event?
Please collect your glass (which is mandatory), your wristband and any tokens from the registration desk. It is not necessary to print your ticket(s). In order to avoid queues and waiting time it would be appreciated if you have the QR code readily available on your phone or tablet for us to read. Please note that WIFI is patchy - so it may be an idea to have this downloaded in advance. Many thanks.
Why do I need to wear a wristband?
This is an event designed to be fun for all and as such we are mindful of preventing unwarranted disruptive behaviour. We are requesting that all participants - of any age wear a wristband for the duration of the festival. We will have security on the doors of the beer tent and no wristband = no entry. Please ensure that you wear it.
Can I buy tokens at the event and how much are they?
Yes, tokens will be available to purchase throughout the event from a designated kiosk by the brewery. This will be manned throughout the opening hours of the festival and you can buy 1 ticket at a time or in multiples.
The tokens are priced at £1.50 each and are redeemable in the following ways:
1 = 1/3 a pint of beer / any soft drink (£1.50)
2 = 2/3rds of a pint of beer (£3.00)
3 = 1 pint of beer (£4.50)
4 = 175m glass of wine / Gin and tonic (£6.00)
5 = 200ml mini bottle Prosecco
12 = 4 pint jug of beer (£18.00)
13 = bottle of wine or Prosecco (£19.50)
When can I use my tokens?
Your tokens can be used throughout the festival and in the shop on the following Sunday. They can also be used against any merchandise purchases.
Where can I use my tokens?
The beer tokens are valid for use in any of the bars: Main beer marquee and the Gin & Prosecco bar and the shop on Sunday. They can also be used against merchandise purchases in the shop before 31.12.2025.
Please note that they are not valid with any of the food vendors - they will accept cash or cards and use their own systems - please check purchasing options before ordering.
Why do I have to buy a glass?
Alcohol sales are strictly bound by the weights and measures act 1988 prescribing precise size of units for sale. Our glassware is specifically developed for this use. Glassware from our previous festivals is fine if you wish to bring along. Please do not run the risk of offence with our staff having to refuse to serve you if you do not have a glass with the prescribed weights and measures clearly marked.
Your glass is yours to keep as part of the festival - so please keep hold of it! Please note there are no refunds on glassware or entry tickets.
What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
As a rural location, the options for public transport are limited into Wincle itself. The nearest train stations are in: Macclesfield, Congleton and Buxton. There are also bus stations in these towns and in Leek. From all of these towns Taxis are available to Wincle.
Please note that mobile coverage is very patchy in the area so if you are reliant on a taxi to get you home please ensure that this is organised in advance. There is also a public phone box on the road side at the entrance to the brewery.
Who can I bring into the event?
Well behaved dogs (please keep on leads), children and adults are all welcome!
