Winton Outback Festival 2025

Held during the September 2025 school holidays, Outback Festival is perfect for families or anyone who loves the Aussie Outback. 

The festival's hilarious signature event, the Quilton Australian Dunny Derby, will top off five days of quirky events, warm Outback hospitality and nightly live entertainment attracting visitors from all over.  2025 will include some exciting new individual and team sports, including the Outback Whip Cracking Championships, Wicky Taylor Memorial Dunny Pan Dash, Truck Pull and Beard Competition.  There is also the highly anticipated 150th Celebration Formal Ball, where period costumes, finest ball gowns or best suits can be worn. Sports fans can test their skills with some gruelling sporting challenges including the Outback Century Cycle Challenge - the toughest, flattest cycling event in the Outback, and Outback Iron Man, Woman and Junior events. 

And, don't forget the kids! We've got plenty of free workshops and events to keep them busy and entertained.
