50th Anniversary Special Event Weekend

We've reached our 50 year milestone!  Our very first Winton Outback Festival was launched back in 1972, an idea originally conceived by locals to help boost Winton's local economy following years of drought.  Fast forward to 2022 and this popular biennial event has drawn thousands of visitors to Winton every odd year.  

To celebrate this 50 year achievement, the event committee are holding a special one-off Anniversary Event Weekend from Friday 23 September to Sunday 25 September 2022.  Over the weekend, guests can join in a whole host of activities to include:

• Golden Anniversary Gala Dinner
• Mardi Gras & Live Music Concerts
• Bush Poets Recovery Breakfast
• Opal Trader Markets & Gemboree Trail
