We are delighted to welcome back world-famous guitar duo The Katona Twins after their sellout show in 2023. This time they join forces with the festival's very own string quartet, led by Thelma Handy, for a programme based on the duo's latest album Alhambra Inspirations. 

With its impressive mosaics and sun-drenched gardens, the Alhambra Palace in the Spanish city Granada inspired the creation of many wonderful compositions throughout the centuries. While several works of Tárrega, Albéniz and de Falla have a direct connection to the Alhambra Palace, the Arabian influence is evident in most pieces in this programme.

Also featuring music by Boccherini, Scarlatti and more.
