Wirral Chamber Music Festival is excited to be hosting a FREE workshop for school music students, based upon the Edexcel A Level Music syllabus. Featuring live electronics, piano, violin and cello, all performed by some of the North West’s finest professional musicians, this workshop is not only for those studying this syllabus - we encourage all music students to attend, both A Level and GCSE, and those interested in electronic music as well as classical. 

The workshop will be an interactive discussion and demonstration based on 3 contrasting and inspiring pieces from the set works list:

Clara Schumann’s Piano Trio in G minor
Petals for cello and live electronics by Kaija Saariaho
Debussy's Pagodes for solo piano
