Are you and your family interested in Nature? Then this could be for you.
At the Edward Kemp Community Garden we are constantly looking at ways for exploring Nature.
Our Garden with food and flower growing supports biodiversity and we try to go some way to help bringing endangered populations back from the brink.
We will have a nature trail where we will be spotting and recording insect life, exploring our bug hotel and looking at the flowers we grow.
We will have identifying and tasting sessions so families can “spot the difference” between supermarket produce and freshly picked salads and vegetables.
There will be an opportunity to do some harvesting of produce and may be an option to dig up and take home some potatoes and carrots.
If the weather is very warm then please bring hats, water and sunscreen.
If possible please bring your own gardening gloves and a container to take any produce home.
