Join us for a free evening of discussion and talks on the future of heating! We’ll be joined by experts in insulation and heat pumps, and explore options for the £7500 of grant funding that Wirral residents can access!

You will hear from speakers but, more importantly, you’ll have the chance to ask questions and get involved. We want people to leave the event with a plan for their own home!

Ed - ‘Our Heat Pump Journey’

Heat pumps are an energy efficient, low carbon way to heat your home. They’re suitable for almost all types of home and, depending on what heating system you’re replacing, could save you money on your energy bills.

Ed is a Bebington resident. In June 2023 engineers installed an air-source at his home and they’ve been living with it happily ever since. Ed will tell his story from start to finish and explain how you can benefit from a £7500 government grant to upgrade your heating system.

Katie - Energy Projects Plus

Energy Projects Plus is an independent social enterprise and registered environmental charity that has been in operation since 1995. They work with a variety of partners to help deliver projects that focus on improving domestic energy efficiency and reducing fuel poverty.

Katie will talk about how you can reduce energy usage at home and save money on bills on the run up to winter. She will explain how Energy Projects Plus may be able to assist residents with keeping warm and well at home.

Katie will also talk about different grants and funding that is available to improve the energy efficiency of your home and what retrofit measures would be advised alongside the installation of a heat pump.
