Land Workers Association Hedgelaying Training Day

WCV has been invited to provide a hedgelaying training day to local members of the Land Worker’s Alliance (LWA) in Mottram in Longdendale.  This booking event is for hedgelaying trainers only.

Home farm is a livery stable with some 20 horses stabled there.  The hedge is well established and will need a combination of hand tools and some chainsaw work but is a good example of a training hedge. 

As usual, wear clothing and footwear for changeable wintery weather conditions.  Don't forget your packed lunch and refreshments.  Car sharing is recommended, where possible.

WCV will be providing tools and associated PPE for the LWA trainees to use.
