Community Tree Nursery Work Day
This session will focus on maintaining young trees through the late summer period, when warm weather and dry conditions can place plants under stress. Tasks will include regular watering, weeding, and monitoring stock for signs of drought stress, pests, or disease. We will also review pot sizes and spacing, potting on any trees that require it, and checking stakes and supports where used. Labelling will be checked and maintained, and the digital inventory will be updated to reflect current stock levels and condition.
As always, everyone is welcome.
No ticket is needed, but it helps us to have an idea of numbers, and allows us to communicate with attendees with reminders or about changes.
