What she will learn and gain

  • Build self-esteem, confidence, and resilience through a supportive small-group experience

  • Outdoor life is for everyone. Girls do not need to be expert athletes to enjoy the outdoors. Hiking and yoga are accessible, lifelong forms of movement that meet each participant where she is

  • Real-life opportunities to work through challenges in a safe, guided environment that builds confidence, perseverance, and self-trust

  • How to notice, name, and celebrate personal successes—big and small

  • A yoga practice paired with practical principles that can be applied to everyday life, including stress management, self-regulation, and self-care

  • Ways to enjoy life beyond screens and the material world (no phones or personal devices are permitted during the trip)

  • How to form new relationships, practice healthy communication, and build meaningful peer connections

  • Cooking and shared meal skills, with the option to participate in age-appropriate meal preparation

  • Environmental responsibility through the principles of Leave No Trace and caring for shared spaces by leaving them better than they were found

  • Life skills that support self-esteem and confidence, including how habits are formed and how small daily choices impact overall well-being

  • Increased independence and responsibility through shared lodging, group decision-making, and cooperative living

  • How to listen to their bodies, respect limits, and advocate for themselves during physical and emotional challenges

  • Greater awareness of personal strengths and values, and how to live in alignment with them
