'Ceilidh in the Park '

Gather your family & friends and join us for some high energy dancing at our outdoor 'Ceilidh in the Park'. 

We are Fundraising for our wonderful charity partner the Wave Project and Dunbar Civic Week. 

Put on your dancing shoes and grab your partners and we'll take care of the Great Music and Good Vibes at our final day celebrations!!

All ages and abilities are welcome, you dont need to know all the moves, you just need to be up for giving it a go and having loads of fun.

Our lively caller will guide you through the steps, so you'll be spinning and reeling like a pro in no time... 

Come along in a group, come along with a partner or friend - there are lots of opportunities for mixing and dancing with other people. That's part of ceilidh culture.

• Ceilidh Area Doors open at 12.30pm
• The Ceilidh begins at 1 pm to 4pm with a break in the middle to give the band some refreshments before their 2nd set

Now for the Practical Stuff 

'Lauderdale Park' is a wonderful local Park at the Heart of Dunbar with a newly refurbished Play Area, Walled Garden, Petanque Pitch and Cafe.

There are Picnic Benches throughout the Park but they are limited in numbers. Please bring your own Camping Chairs, Picnic Blankets if you want to make sure you get a seat.

The 'Wishing Tree by the Sea' Cafe will be open all day for Drinks, Food and Snacks.

There will be a supply of Drinking water to quench that thirst after all the Dancing. Please bring your own water bottle to cut down on waste.

There are Public toilets in the Cafe and Portaloo's provided at the main gate.  

The Weather: The one area we can't control There is always a chance we might need to call off the ceilidh. On the morning of the Ceilidh we will check the forecasts and make a decision. If it looks like it will be Stormy / Torrential rain then we will call it off and announce the cancellation.  If the forecast in the morning is Fair then we will go ahead as planned.
