Big Bang 2021

After giving 2020 a miss, Wivelsfield Bonfire Society is back with a Big Bang in 2021.

Due to the refurbishments at the Village Hall, we will be breaking from tradition this year and moving from our usual October date to put on a Christmas Spectacular on the 18^th December 2021.

This will be our biggest event yet. As well as the now famous firework display (set to music with a Christmas theme), there will be a full evening’s entertainment including a new spectacular flame show, a live band and, of course, the lighting of a bonfire. Moving to the week before Christmas also means a more seasonal flavour to the event with a Christmas stall and plenty to eat and drink with a bar and multiple food options. Funds raised will help to support this year’s event as well as local charities including St James Hospice and the Wivelsfield School PTA.

We have managed to get back to some other fund raising this year and it was great to see so many of you at the Big Party on the green in July and the Church Fete in August. Thanks to everyone who helped make those events such a success and to all the thirsty folk who helped us to raise money at the bars.
