Cream tea in aid of Alzheimer’s Society*.

The Alzheimer's Society helps those with dementia and their carers with information on memory aids, advice on getting support from GPs, health and social care professionals and respite as well as invest in dementia research. There are currently estimated to be 982,000 people with dementia in the UK, but more than a third of people with the condition do not have a diagnosis. The number is expected to rise to 1.4 million by 2040.

In order to support their work we at Mizens Railway in Knaphill are holding a Fundraising Cream Tea event. This will be held in the Station Building, so it is an all weather event.

Why not come along and enjoy a scone with jam and cream, with a pot of tea or cup of coffee. We are asking for a donation of £10 per person. There will also be a raffle taking place, and some other activities (for an extra donation).

You will have your table for 45 minutes to enjoy your Tea.
