CRIS WILLIAMSON • THE CHANGER AND THE CHANGED • 50TH ANNIVERSARY CONCERT

Cris Williamson returns to Columbus for a special 50th Anniversary solo presentation of the beloved Changer and the Changed, the album that became the soundtrack of a movement.

The Changer and the Changed is a seminal album in feminist music history. Released in 1975 on Olivia Records, an all-women recording company, the album is considered a cornerstone of women's music. NPR's Music Critic Ann Powers has praised the album as a work that explores themes of loss, grief, and renewal, suggesting it's a portal that allows listeners to travel through time and return refreshed. The album's impact is significant, with Powers and others highlighting its enduring influence on the feminist music movement.

Golden Circle ticket holders will be treated to reserved (front 5 rows) seating and a pre-concert meet-n-greet with Cris. A portion of the proceeds from Golden Circle tickets will be used for the completion of the feature-length documentary film, Free Beer Tomorrow.

This event will be interpreted in American Sign Language for Deaf and hard-of-hearing attendees.
