Stride with Pride

Welcome to the Stride with Pride Walking Group! Want to get in some gentle exercise? Chat and spend time with others outdoors? Come touch some grass and schmooze while you cruise with our walking group. This group is appropriate for the LGBT+ community and allies alike.

Meeting in west park this walk is local for almost anyone and easily accessible for those that need it. Parking is located on the outer border of the park and there are several buses passing the area. We normally do two laps and then stop for a coffee in the café. You're welcome to walk as much (or as little) as you'd like, and the coffee social afterwards is also optional. 

All walks are flat and accessible. Join us at 10:45am (by the bandstand) to set off promptly at 11am, you are welcome to walk for 30 minutes, 1 hour or 1.5 hours, do as much as you feel -at your own pace. Children and pets are welcome to attend with supervision.
