If you answered yes to any of these then I'd love you to join our Women Aloud membership community!
Here we are still in the midst of a pandemic...2020 has been tough and now more than ever we want to know that there are people to reach out to if we need them. And that’s what our Women Aloud membership offers...connection, conversation and a supportive community of women who look out for each other.
And as well as offering you that comforting sense of community, we are also committed to creating a safe space - somewhere you can be honest and share how things are, without feeling a need to sugar-coat it. It's not about having all your sh*t together and 'keeping up with the Joneses'. Nope! Here at Women Aloud we much prefer 'keeping it real' and showing up as your true self. I want our community to be somewhere you feel seen and heard...because I really want it to be more about YOU.
Being part of our membership community will give you the encouragement, the space and the opportunities to prioritise yourself. Inspiring and empowering you to take time for you...to socialise with a diverse group of women; to do different and interesting things; to do a bit of learning or self-development; and maybe give your lifestyle or wellbeing some attention too.
If any of this is resonating with you then I'd love to invite you to join our More About You Membership which is designed to give you all the above plus more :-) If you're thinking, whoa this all sounds a bit intense, don't worry, this is not a deep and meaningful boot-camp! I promise there'll be a good sprinkling of laughs and light-hearted stuff too!!!
Here's what you get when you become a More About You member >>>
ALL our online events are included!!!
As a More About You member you'll be able to attend any of our online events including our popular Women Aloud book club (and our new podcast club) - and there will be no extra cost (unless it's a special event in which case you'll get a discounted rate). All our events will be online until the end of January, after which we will review the situation.
There's no pressure to show up to every event, you can choose the events which interest you the most. Most of our events will be available on catch-up if you can't make it live (but if we've been sharing personal experiences then it won't be appropriate to share those recordings so there will be a top tips summary instead). There is an events section in our Members Hub where you can revisit any of the recordings and continue the conversation with your fellow members.
Here are some of the event recordings which you can watch as soon as you sign up....
What do you think, is it time to make it More About You?!
*** For a limited time only you can sign up and benefit from the full value of our More About You membership for just £29 ***
(Your membership will run from the day you sign up until 28 February 2021)
If you're in, please hit the SIGN UP NOW button to secure yourself a space. I can't wait to welcome you into our community :-)
Still on the fence? That's absolutely fine, there’s no pressure to decide right now but doors to membership will be closing soon and I won't reopen until next year. I've popped some thoughts below which might help you decide but if you've got more questions please fire me over an email, I'd love to hear from you.

I've been in women's groups before and I haven't liked the vibe
Whether you’re talking online with other members or you’re joining in the conversation at one of our events, I want you to know that our community is a safe, inclusive space. We're all about women supporting women. We are not about cliques, back-stabbing or judging each other. Oh and I hope it goes without saying that racism won’t be tolerated either! (Full disclaimer, if anyone joins us and starts bringing down the vibe, then I'll be suggesting they leave the group).
I don't think I've got enough time to be involved
You might not, and I don't want to add more to your plate. However, there are no expectations, you can show up as much or as little as you like. You do what works best for you. None of the conversations, the advice, the resources - will go anywhere. You can just dip in and out as you want. If you want to pop online every day to hang out with other members that's great but if you'd rather only log-on occasionally when it's a subject that interests you, that's also absolutely fine. Our membership is flexible and pressure-free. I completely understand other commitments get in the way, but I really hope our events and online members hub will help encourage you to take some time for yourself.
It's going to cost me money
Yep, there's no hiding from it, there is a cost but it's an investment in and for you! I've been seeing this crop up elsewhere, this theme that as women we often hold back on spending money when it comes to ourselves. We don't think anything of buying those takeaway coffees or bottles of wines which over the month probably add up to more than a membership, yet we still seem to hold back on making that financial investment in ourselves - why is that? I don't have all the answers (I have some ideas but that's for another day). My hope is that I can sow the seed, that even if it's not this membership I can encourage more of you to feel OK with spending money on yourselves, to see the value in investing in the things which make you feel happier and healthier. PS: see below about gifting membership if you'd prefer to drop a hint and get someone else to treat you!
I can't commit to all the events
Don't worry, you don't need to commit to anything. We host a variety of events covering lots of different topics so you can pick and choose the ones which interest you most. If you're able to do them all, that's amazing, I'd love to hang out with you every time. But I know this might not be possible and you might only want to do something occasionally. All totally fine. You've also got access to the event recordings to catch-up so you won't miss out even if you don't manage to join us live.
When and where will the events be held?
We're going to be hanging out on Zoom for the time being. You can keep your camera off and there's no pressure to speak up if this makes you feel more comfortable. The time and day of the events will vary - in the main they'll be midweek at about 8pm but there may occasionally be sessions at other times of the day.
Can you tell me more about the membership hub?
I sure can. We will be moving our membership area away from Facebook and onto a new online community hub instead. It has loads more features and you’re more in control of how much or little you get involved. There'll be conversation, inspiration and resources all easily found in one place. It will be your safe, online space to connect with other members. You'll be able to search for members who live locally; who have the same interests or who may be in a similar stage of life. There will also be sub-groups which you can join in with. And there is more on the horizon - but it is your online space not mine so I'm super keen to make it whatever works best for you and your fellow members.
The events don't interest me so much but the new membership hub does, can I still get involved?
You can, this is our Community Membership - you'll be able to join in the conversation online; get involved in the sub-groups which interest you most; connect with other members and benefit from all the inspiration, advice and support. (There will be some restrictions on event specific content but you'll get all the other stuff). You will also be invited to our monthly conversation club (where we get together on Zoom to discuss a book or podcast). Again, I'd like to offer you a limited time offer of £15 for 3months Community Membership. There is a package price for this instead of a monthly cost to enable members to take the time to make connections and to ensure a strong sense of community. If an event takes your interest after all, you can then just buy a guest ticket as an add-on to your membership or get in touch to upgrade to the full membership. Hit the SIGN UP NOW button to choose the Community option and reserve your place before the hub gets too full.
Is there a business membership option?
There is. We aren't a business networking or selling group but you may well have some amazing products and services which our members could benefit from, so, if you might be interested in a business membership please drop me an email and I can share the details with you!
Can I gift membership to a friend or ask someone to buy it for me?
Yes, yes, yes! That's a great idea. Our online system isn't fancy enough to do this (yet) but pop me an email over to laura@womenaloud.co.uk and I can get it sorted for you (or the person you're planning to drop a big hint to!)
Why are you only signing people up until 28th February 2021?
As we don’t quite know how Covid will play out, I'm taking it month by month. The community and our events will definitely continue, but hopefully we can get back to meeting in person as well, fingers crossed!
Why am I signing up on Ticket Tailor?
Good question, and I'll be honest (practicing what I preach). There should have been a swanky new website with all the sign up stuff, but it's not done (yet)! So, as all our events are listed here on Ticket Tailor I decided to put the membership sign up here too so it's easy to find if you're considering our events. Once you sign up, you'll get all the information and the access details for our members hub which is live and ready to welcome you!
Has that helped?
I'd be thrilled to have on board - you can click on the SIGN UP NOW button to choose whichever membership option suits you best.
Still not sure? That’s fine, have a little think (but not too long as doors will close soon!) If you’ve got any questions or you want to clarify anything, please do ask away.
