Menopause & Meaningful Work - A Surviving and Thriving Guide for Women in Sustainability

Thu 23 Apr 2026 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM BST Online, Zoom

About this workshop

Menopause doesn’t happen in isolation — it unfolds alongside careers, responsibilities, and the desire to continue doing meaningful, impact-driven work. For many women in sustainability, this can feel like a tension between staying committed to your work and staying connected to your wellbeing.

This second session of the series Menopause Friendly Workplaces, creates space to explore that tension openly and honestly. Through group coaching, Q&A, and shared discussion, you’ll deepen your understanding of what’s happening during peri-menopause — without overwhelming medical detail — and begin to reframe this phase as a powerful transition rather than a period of decline.

Together, we’ll explore how to sustain your energy, confidence, and sense of purpose, so you can continue contributing meaningfully without burning out.

What you’ll learn

In this session, you will:

  • Build a clear, accessible understanding of peri-menopause and how it can show up in your work and daily life.

  • Begin to reframe menopause as a transition, shifting from survival mode to a more empowered perspective.

  • Explore practical, realistic strategies to manage your energy, focus, and wellbeing at work.

  • Strengthen your confidence and self-belief, recognising that you are not the problem.

  • Engage in open conversation and shared learning, gaining insight from others navigating similar experiences.

You’ll leave with grounded, realistic strategies to help you in the workplace, knowing that you don’t have to choose between your well-being and making a difference in the world.

Who is this for?

This session is for women in sustainability who want to continue doing meaningful, purpose-driven work while navigating peri-menopause with greater understanding and self-compassion. If you’re looking for practical support, honest conversation, and a space to reconnect with your confidence and direction, this workshop will help you move forward in a way that feels sustainable and empowering.
