What does it mean to prepare for the end of life—not with fear, but with intention, clarity, and care for those we love? Lydia and Tiffany will explore how thoughtful preparation can be one of the most generous and selfless acts we offer our families—from advance directives and legacy wishes to conversations that too often get avoided. They will introduce Wally’s Hearth, a social model hospice home grounded in dignity, presence, and community, offering an alternative to institutional end-of-life care.
The conversation will not shy away from complex and important topics, including Medical Aid in Dying (MAID), autonomy, and the evolving landscape of end-of-life choice in the United States. This circle invites you to reflect, plan, and reframe the end of life—not as something to fear, but as something we can approach with meaning, intention, and even grace.
Dr. Lydia Manning and Tiffany Johnson are the co-founders of Wally’s Hearth. Home | Wally's Hearth
