SUPER AGERS: The Women, the Stories, the Science

Join Dr. Emily Rogalski, internationally recognized cognitive neuroscientist and lead researcher at the University of Chicago’s Healthy Aging & Alzheimer’s Research Care Center, for a fascinating look at Super Agers—women 80 and older whose memory performance rivals, and often exceeds, that of people decades younger.

Dr. Rogalski will share what researchers are discovering about these remarkable women and introduce us to two Super Agers. What distinguishes their cognitive functioning? What can we learn from their stories and experiences? And what might their example teach us about the possibilities of growing older?
