Women's Badminton League 2026

The second edition of Women’s Badminton League has arrived and will take place just outside of Copenhagen!

The event takes place on 19th & 20th of December 2026, at Solrød Strand Idrætscenter.

Expect a unique badminton experience with players and fans closer than ever, plus entertainment like a speaker, DJ, and halftime show.

Our goal is to highlight girls in badminton and encourage more of them to play. We want girls to see badminton not just as a hobby, but as a way of life. This league aims to inspire and support young female athletes, helping them follow their dreams and succeed in the sport and beyond.

We want to inspire and bring the next generation closer to us! We want to help, teach and inspire them to chase their dreams and achieve success.

About the Women’s Badminton League (WBL)

The Women’s Badminton League (WBL) is an exciting new team competition designed to spotlight and empower female badminton players.

In the WBL, four teams compete over two matchdays, creating a high-energy atmosphere full of top-level badminton.
• Each team plays two team matches – one semi-final knock out & either a gold match or bronze match.
• Every team match consists of five individual matches (one singles, two doubles and two 3v3).
• Matches are played on two courts simultaneously, making the action fast-paced and engaging for both players and spectators.

• Saturday, December 19 – Start time: 10:30
• Sunday, December 20 – Start time: 10:30

The WBL format ensures all players get multiple opportunities to compete while fans enjoy a dynamic and immersive experience across the event!
