A radical feminist week in the woods featuring radical feminist history and theory, political strategy and organizing skills, songs and stories around the fire circle, gentle hikes, free time for making friends, and some very yummy food.
Part summer camp. Part working conference.
Days of learning and skill-building – surrounded by trees, trails, and real conversation.
WHAT THIS IS
This isn’t a typical conference – and it’s not just a retreat.
It’s five days set aside to:
- get grounded in radical feminist thought
- build practical, usable skills
- spend real time connecting with other women doing this work
You’ll move between focused sessions and open space – structured learning, then river, trails, meals, and conversations that keep going long after the session ends.
By attending, you’ll learn how to:
- Take back and influence legacy organizations
- Speak clearly to “normies” about threats to women
- Lobby your representatives and engage in legislative change
- Use signature collection and local strategy effectively
- Create persuasive political messaging (including video)
- Understand WoLF’s position on the ERA – and what we propose instead
- Recognize and challenge gender ideology from the left
- Analyze global and cultural forces impacting women
Together, we’ll dig into:
- Why is it so hard to get blue states to understand that porn is bad for women and girls
- What it’s like to be a young RadFem in a captured culture
- How women’s careers have been destroyed
- How religions subjugate women
- The roots of Radical Feminism
- Clawing our way out of gender identity ideology
Featuring:
- Lierre Keith – WoLF Founder
- Amy Sousa – The Known Heretic
- Sierra Wier – Exulansic
- Jasmin Faulk – author of The Last Sandstorm
- Jaime Reed & Lauren Leggieri – LGB Courage Coalition
- Arianne – LGB Alliance, USA
- And the women you’ll meet at camp – the most important part for many of us!
What camp is like:
Mornings and afternoons are for sessions – learning, discussion, and skill-building.
In between and after, it’s camp:
- Trips to the river to swim
- Song circles, open mic, and dancing under the stars
- Sunset on the beach
- Arts and crafts
- Hiking gentle trails
- Visit to see real live wild bears (safely)
- Conversations that start at dinner and keep going around the campfire
Nourishing meals are provided with plenty of options.
If you’re traveling in, we can help:
- Camping gear available to borrow
- Nearby hotels and AirBnBs if camping isn’t your thing
WoLF Radical Feminist Summer Camp FAQs
Q: What is WoLF RadFem Summer Camp?
It’s a five-day+, women-only event on private land in the wilds of southern Oregon.
Our camp emphasizes feminist theory, movement strategy, and the organizing skills needed to make our revolution happen.
We also know that a gynocentric culture of resistance is crucial to our survival, so music, art, and friendship around the campfire are also on the agenda.
Q: When is Camp?
Camp starts Wednesday, June 24 and goes through breakfast on Monday, June 29. While we would love for you to join us for the entire time, please come for whatever portion of that time works for you. The last arrival day is Friday. Programming will run from Wednesday lunch through Sunday. Saturday, after dinner, we will have an official Good-Bye, as we know many women will have to travel home, but for those able to stay, we have more fun in store through Sunday night. Camp departure is after breakfast on Monday, although we'd love it if you're able to stay to help clean up.
Q: Who is Camp for?
Adult human females, aka WOMEN.
Beyond that, Camp is for members of WoLF and our friends. If you’re not a WoLF member (yet…), fill out the Camp registration form and check the “Not a member” box. We’ll arrange a friendly Zoom to see if we’re a good fit.
Q: I’m not sure if I’m a radical feminist. Should I come to Camp?
- If you are curious about radical feminism, yes.
- If some of it makes sense but maybe not all of it, yes. There is plenty of room for dialogue!
- If you’re afraid you don’t know enough, don’t be afraid—come! We know you know enough.
- If you don’t know any other radical feminists, well, that can be hard. But we’ll make sure you have a great time. And you’re sure to leave knowing a whole bunch of us! So come!
Q: Why women-only?
Everywhere, women's spaces are under attack. A man only has to claim he "feels like" a woman if he wants to break the boundaries of sex-segregated spaces such as bathrooms, homeless shelters, women’s colleges and sports, and women’s prisons. WoLF cannot accept this destruction of our very necessary private and sacred spaces, so we have put our paws to work to create our Camp.
Women’s spaces provide for:
- Respite from constant emotional, physical, and sexual subordination by men
- The psychological liberation of experiencing woman-identified values and practices
- The creation of friendships and political community that is not possible if men are present
- A glimpse of true freedom
All oppressed people have a right to their own spaces. Such spaces are crucial to our survival as individuals and the strength of our resistance movements. WoLF will never retreat from defending women-only space!
Q: Who is organizing this event?
Camp is being organized by a small group of dedicated women from WoLF.
Q: Where is WoLF’s RadFem Summer Camp held?
The event is being held on private land in southern Oregon. To maintain safety in these times of severe misogynist backlash, we aren’t divulging the location of Camp until two days before the event.
Once you are registered, you will be given general directions to the event so you can make travel plans.
Two days before, on Sunday, June 21, registrants will receive an email with the exact address and directions.

The Livestream Zoom ticket includes 18 sessions livestreamed directly to your computer. Keep in mind that we will be livestreaming from a camping environment, our magical village in the woods, so patience is requested.
Q: How do I register?
Registration is a two-step process. First, buy your ticket here. After you purchase, you’ll receive an email with a link to the Registration Form. Fill that out and be sure to hit “submit” at the bottom. If you receive a submission confirmation, you’re done! If you don’t receive a submission confirmation, make sure you have hit “Submit” all the way at the bottom of the form.
Q: And a workshift?
It’s true, there are no House Elves at Camp. It’s a lot of work to get that many women fed, and everyone able-bodied has to pitch in. You’ll sign up for a workshift at check-in. If you have extensive kitchen experience, please let us know ahead of time.
Q: How rough is the camping?
There are extremely clean porta-Janes in our area, and flush toilets and hot showers five minutes away! There are also local motels and Air BnBs not far from the site for anyone who prefers not to camp at Camp.
Q: What about RVs?
There is space for RVs, but it’s dry camping, no hookups. Let us know what your rig is when you register.
Q: And if I don’t want to camp?
There are motels and AirBnBs near the Camp location.
Q: Can I get a cheaper ticket if I stay elsewhere?
No, the campground is charging the same for day trippers as they are for those who stay overnight.
Q: What’s the food situation?
Feed women! is a basic feminist principle, and one we celebrate.
The food will be plentiful and filling, but not elaborate. The main meals are all gluten-free.
Beyond that, there are three options: omnivore, vegetarian, and vegan.
Coffee and tea will be available all day, as well as simple snacks.
We can’t accommodate more specific dietary needs than the above. If you have serious or unusual dietary needs, you should bring your own food. If you have questions about the food, please email.
Remember to bring your own plate, bowl, mug, and utensils, even if you aren’t camping!
Q: Can I cook my own food?
Sure! There are grocery stores nearby and lots of places that sell ice for coolers.
Q: Can children attend?
No, this is a women’s only event. However, if you have a babe in arms and you want to juggle being in a camping situation with your baby, you may do so.
Q: What should I bring?
The usual for camping:
Tent with rainfly
Tarp
Sleeping bag
Folding chair
Plate, bowl, mug, utensils
Towel
Personal care items
Flashlight
Warm layers - it can cool down in the evening, and it’s often misty early in the morning
Rain gear in case!
Q: Can I come to Camp for part of the week?
Yes, you can. See the price chart.
Q. Can I come early or stay late?
Please! We need all the help we can get! Indicate on your registration form that you would like to arrive early or stay for cleanup, and a member of our planning team will be in touch with you.
Q. Is there any work-exchange available?
We have work-exchange positions available to help in the kitchen. Check the box on your registration form if you’re interested. Work exchange women can stay at the house; if you are on the kitchen crew, you don’t have to camp unless you want to.
Q. What about the workshop schedule?
We’ll send out the full schedule when it’s available. The schedule will also be printed as a booklet and posted at Camp.
Q: Is there cellphone/internet service?
Cell service is patchy, but it’s there. Internet is available.
Q: What is the smoking policy?
There is a smoking area. Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere else.
Q: Can I bring my dog?
Dogs must be on a leash at all times, no exceptions. There’s a $15 charge for each dog.
Q: Can I sell my crafts/table for my organization?
Sure! Everyone is welcome to set up merchandise for sale or information to distribute, for free. You are responsible for your own set-up - chair, table, etc.
