Moving Forward in Excellence: Empowering, Building Community, and Creating Futures

WMRCC proudly invites the community to its 33rd Annual Black History Month Celebration, an evening dedicated to Moving Forward in Excellence. Join us as we celebrate Black history, culture, and achievement through empowerment, community building, and future-focused dialogue.

This dynamic event will feature a keynote address by Martin Scott-Pascall, Artistic Director, alongside electric youth performances that showcase creativity, talent, and cultural expression. Guests will also enjoy a vibrant Black-owned Business Market, a powerful drumming experience by Babarinde Williams (Drums et al), and the opportunity to enjoy delicious cultural foods served throughout the evening, celebrating the rich flavors of the African and Black diaspora.

In recognition of the 2nd International Decade for People of African Descent (Recognition, Justice, and Development), this celebration offers a space to connect, reflect, and uplift voices within the community.
