We know that many professionals working in fire safety don’t have an operational fire-fighting background. This awareness day is an opportunity to get hands-on, practical knowledge about the equipment, protocols and procedures of fire-fighting.

Together with Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service, we’ve devised five different sessions, each of which will provide delegates with understanding of a particular aspect of fire-fighting. Groups of 20 delegates will rotate around these stations over the course of the day, learning from operational personnel and gaining a greater understanding of the practicalities and challenges associated with fire-fighting in buildings.

Attire: The majority of the day will be spent outside on the Training Ground. Please wear appropriate clothing and shoes that you would wear to site and don’t mind getting dirty.

Getting to the Venue: Cheshire Fire & Rescue Service’s Training Centre is in Sadler Road, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 2FQ. For those travelling by car, there is a free car park approximately 10 minutes’ walk from the Training Centre called the Verdin Exchange, CW7 2BP.

Cancellation Policy: Tickets are non-refundable however we will transfer your ticket to another attendee up to 24 hours before the event. It is not possible to amend dietary requirements when tickets are transferred.
