Conditional Advance Ticket Sale and Permitting Disclosure

The Womp Music Festival is subject to the issuance and continued validity of all municipal licences, permits, approvals and authorizations required for the event to proceed.

At the time of purchase, one or more required approvals may remain outstanding. The purchase of a ticket does not guarantee that the event will occur and does not represent that all required approvals have already been obtained.

All advance ticket sales are expressly conditional upon the event organizer receiving and maintaining the required governmental and regulatory approvals.

If the event is cancelled because a required licence, permit or approval is denied, not issued, withdrawn, suspended or revoked, the purchaser will receive a full refund of all amounts paid directly to the event organizer for the affected ticket, including applicable taxes and mandatory ticket-processing fees charged at the time of purchase.

Refunds will be issued automatically to the original method of payment wherever reasonably possible. If the original payment method is unavailable, the purchaser may be required to provide reasonable information necessary to process the refund. Purchasers will not be required to submit a separate refund request unless otherwise communicated by the event organizer.

The event organizer will provide notice of a permit-related cancellation through the purchaser’s supplied email address and through the event’s official communication channels. Refund processing will begin promptly following the cancellation decision. The time required for the refunded amount to appear may depend on the purchaser’s bank, credit-card issuer or payment processor.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the event organizer will not be responsible for travel, accommodation, transportation, equipment, food, lost wages, artist or vendor expenses, or any other personal or third-party costs incurred in connection with the event. Purchasers are encouraged to make refundable or transferable travel and accommodation arrangements until the event’s permitting status has been confirmed.

If the event is postponed or rescheduled rather than cancelled, purchasers will be advised of the replacement date and the available ticket or refund options. Nothing in these terms limits any non-waivable right or remedy available to a purchaser under applicable consumer-protection legislation.

By completing the purchase, the purchaser confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Conditional Advance Ticket Sale and Permitting Disclosure.
