VENUE : Tower of Enchantment
Tucked away in Portobello, The Tower is an intriguing architectural treasure.
This octagonal Gothic landmark has a distinctive silhouette, unmistakable character and colourful past. Today, thanks to the vision of Zahra Noble-Sabokbar, it's been transformed into an intimate private venue, making it the perfect setting for a Wonderful-One-Off. With just 14 places at the table, Festive Fables is a showcase for the art of doing things differently, where the surroundings are every bit as memorable as the occasion itself.

A Sisterly welcome with a flourish of theatrical magic as
wild hibiscus flowers unfurl in a flute of alcohol-free bubbles.

CHAPTER I : ONCE UPON A BITE
A nibblesome collection of Christmas canapés.

Fish Called Fabulous (Pescatarian)
Silky ribbons of East Lothian oak-smoked salmon draped over a golden, crisp-edged tattie scones,
crowned with a luscious swirl of horseradish crème fraîche and a feathering of fresh dill.

Tale of Two Haggis (Vegetarian | Carnivore)
Morsels of haggis, traditional or vegetarian, served on gluten-free oatcakes, topped with orchard apples,
with either a whisky glaze or a plum and stem ginger reduction.

The Artful Tart (Vegetarian)
Melt-in-the-mouth gluten-free pastry cases filled with velvety lemony cannellini cream,
topped with mini cubes of balsamic and maple-roasted beetroot with a zing of clementine zest.

 Slow-roasted ham, lavishly lacquered with local honey, infused with fresh and caramelised ginger

Roasted squash cradling a hearty blend of nutty buckwheat and a woodland medley of winter mushrooms,
 enriched with fragrant sage, a zesty note of orange and aromatic Scottish garlic.

Great Ex-Pear-Tations Salad (Vegan)
Slices of pear nestled among watercress and lamb's lettuce, scattered with pomegranate jewels and
 miniature savoury gingerbread croutons, dressed in an elderflower and cider vinegar vinaigrette.

Scarlet Pimpernelle (Vegetarian)
A tumble of finely shredded red cabbage, slow-braised with crisp Bramleys until meltingly tender.
Its ruby-hued depths reveal a dance of syrupiness and tang, a combination that leaps off the plate.

Tattie Ever After (Vegetarian)
Mini potatoes roasted until irresistibly bronzed with crisp, craggy edges and fluffy centres.
Kissed with rosemary and a flurry of Blackthorn Salt.

Cranachan à la Noël (Vegan)
Cranachan gets dressed for Christmas in petite glasses layered with billowy plant-based cream,
tart cranberries and juicy tangerines. Toasted gluten-free oats add crunch to this celebration of winter fruits.

Starlight and Moonlight
Two celestial interpretations of the traditional Christmas mince pie, each with its own little twist.
Starlight (Contains Nuts)
Buttery golden pastry cases with a hidden layer of almond frangipane,
topped with richly spiced mincemeat, wearing a dainty pastry star.
Moonlight (Vegan | Dairy-Free | Gluten-Free | Nut-Free)
Dainty gluten-free pastry cases filled with plump Christmas mincemeat,
topped with a slender pastry crescent. A little midnight magic in every mouthful.

Rapunzel's Petticoat (Gluten-Free | Contains Nuts)
Champagne-flavoured macaroons, arranged in sweeping tiers reminiscent of a fairy-tale ball gown.
Edible violas, shimmering silver leaf and a whisper of sparkle make this a showstopping finale.

A thoughtfully curated selection of alcohol-free drinks is included in the ticket price.
Guests are welcome to Bring Their Own alcoholic tipple to sip alongside the festive feast.

PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING : The event will be photographed & filmed. Photos and footage will be used by Sister Snog for marketing & promotional purposes across multiple channels. Should you not wish to be included send an email to hela@sistersnog.com.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS : Refunds of the ticket price will be issued up and until 21.11.26. Requests must be in writing to hela@sistersnog.com & acknowledged in writing. After that date bookings will be carried forward to another Wonderful-One-Off or offered to the waiting list.Should the event be cancelled by Snog Limited trading as Sister Snog due to a Government directive or strike action or exteame weather conditions, the event will be re-scheduled and the ticket carried over to the rescheduled date.
