Wonderlick House Concert -- Philadelphia, PA

Wonderlick will be performing an intimate concert at a fan's house in South Philly on Thursday, August 14th. Only a couple dozen tickets are available.

The house will be open to guests beginning at 7pm. The performance should begin around 8pm. It will mostly be acoustic, although a couple of numbers use rhythm tracks. Come with questions, as the band draws one at random every couple of songs and answers it (your questions do not have to be about the band or its songs; many people seek relationship advice, answers to philosophical conundrums, and other weighty matters.  Each evening's questions change the nature of the performance, ensuring no two are ever alike).

As one journalist who attended a Wonderlick house show explained in his review: "I can't say I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it -- I expected it to be good -- but I was shocked by how different the vibe was, even compared to seeing an act perform in a tiny but more traditional venue...The intimacy of the performance made me hear the songs -- mostly Wonderlick tunes with a couple Too Much Joy chestnuts sprinkled in -- in a completely different way. It was a great experience."

Tickets are $25 each. The exact address will be emailed to ticket holders 48 hours before the show (it's accessible by the Broad St Line and multiple buses, with decent street parking in the area as well. The host will be providing light refreshments.
