Step into the shop and make something strange, beautiful, and completely your own! In this hands-on leather costume making workshop, you'll create a layered leather mask designed to transform your Halloween costume from ordinary to extraordinary.

Led by Kirsten Bjore, WonderStump cofounder and accomplished leatherworker, this guided workshop blends traditional leatherworking techniques with imaginative costume design. You'll learn how to dye, finish, assemble, and embellish leather while creating a one-of-a-kind piece to wear, display, or build into your Halloween ensemble.

Skills covered include:

• Intro to veg tanned leather
• Dyeing and finishing
• Attaching pieces with rivets
• Painting and surface embellishment
• Adding decorative elements and found objects

All materials are included, and no prior leatherworking experience is necessary. Feel free to bring special accessories like buttons, charms, feathers, found objects, or other treasures to incorporate into your creation if you'd like to add some of your own flair.
