Some may see Brompton Ralph as a quiet village tucked away in the Brendon Hills, on the edge of Exmoor National Park. For us, it’s something far more special the perfect backdrop for our Barn N Grill Nights, held from summer through to autumn in our beautiful 18th century stone barn on our organic farm.

As you make your way across the farmyard, you’ll find us waiting to welcome you into our courtyard with a drink from the Longhorn Horn Bar. 

Take a moment to unwind, take in your surroundings, and savour the atmosphere before being invited to your seat beneath the warm glow of barn lights in our 18th century stone barn.

From there, settle in for an evening celebrating the very best of locally sourced food and drink, with the highlight being our own meat, raised right here on our organic, regenerative farm.  Whoever you are, you’re welcome here! We understand that not everyone enjoys eating meat so this year we have a reduced vegetarian ticket option so you can accompany a meat lover.

Frequently asked questions: 

What time should I arrive?
Please arrive from 7pm where you’ll be welcomed with a drink in the courtyard before dinner is served.

What time does it finish?
Dessert is normally over by 10.30pm but please do feel free to stay on for more drinks. 

What’s included in the ticket?
Your ticket includes a full fire cooked feast using meat from our farm, or a vegetarian alternative, with local sourced produce along with a welcome drink on arrival.

Are drinks included?
A welcome drink is included. Our Longhorn Horn Bar will be open throughout the evening serving a range of drinks including wine, local ale, Cider and more.

Can you cater for dietary requirements?
Where possible, yes. Please let us know any dietary requirements when booking and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

Where is the event held?
The Barn N Grill takes place at Wonky Horn Farm, Brompton Ralph, TA4 2SF  tucked away in our courtyard and 18th century stone barn.

Is seating allocated?
Guests are seated on shared long tables, creating a relaxed, social dining experience. Please do tell us if you are coming with friends so we can put you all together. 

What should I wear?
This is an outdoor and barn setting, so we recommend smart casual clothing and suitable footwear. 

What happens if it rains?
The event will go ahead in all weather. We have covered and indoor spaces within the barn. We always have umbrellas available for you to borrow for the evening. 

Is there parking available?
Yes, on site parking is available at the farm.

Can I buy all 5 nights?
Yes  we offer a Full Bull Pass. Book all 5 Barn N Grill nights and receive a complimentary  half bottle of wine at each event.

Do you have toilets on site? 
Yes we do but you will have to walk outside to access it. 

Do you take cards?
Yes we take cash & cards. 

Can you recommend any taxi numbers?
