VetsFest is Wooden Spoon's unmissable rugby event for veteran players aged 35 and over. 

Through the power of rugby, this event aims to raise funds to help Wooden Spoon better support children and young people who are vulnerable, disabled or disadvantaged. 

Players aged 35 and over will represent their own local Wooden Spoon Region in XV-a-side barbarian teams.

Spectators, Volunteers, Referees and Players can all sign up via the blue button on this page.

NOTES

Playing Sign Up is NOT transferable i.e. another player or spectator may not, under any circumstances, take your place. 

Match Official / Referee sign up is available with an access code from Mark Challis. Please email: rugby@woodenspoon.org.uk

Once playing shirts have been ordered (21st July) no refunds are possible.   A partial refund may be available if you are unable to attend and your playing shirt has not yet been ordered.  If the shirt has been ordered we will ensure you receive it in the post after VetsFest. 

In an effort to be more inclusive and to help dedicated players who can make a positive contribution to VetsFest though currently lack the necessary funds the option to contribute to a VetsFest Bursary Fund has been created.   Contribution has been made part of the sign up process, it is entirely voluntary, but please contribute what you can.     

Wooden Spoon playing shorts (in 5 colours) and playing socks can be purchased as part of the sign up process.
