The Yorkshire Region of Wooden Spoon are delighted to announce the 32nd renewal of the Christmas Sporting Lunch and invite you and your guests to secure your seats at the most sought-after seasonal celebrations in the shire supporting young people in Yorkshire.
Our speakers this year are Jason Leonard OBE, who gained a record 114 caps for England and represented the British & Irish Lions on 3 tours. Following on, we have Yorkshire born award-winning comedian and former Halifax Rugby League player, Lea Roberts. Backing up is our ever-present former England hockey goalie and Master of Ceremonies, Roger Dakin. And to add a little Grace, colour and decorum to proceedings, Yorkshire’s very own Toastmaster, Richard Strudwick.

Cost: £95 per person, £950 for a table of 10
The inaugural lunch in 1992 launched 33 years of fund-raising events. With your generous support, we have currently funded, or contributed to, 110 projects with a total input of nearly £2.5 million.
