Friday morning Playgroup

A gentle introduction to nature for toddlers and their carer with messy play, games, songs & stories.

Autumn term  : 11th September- 16th October 2026

Winter term  : 6th November - 11th December 2026

Times : 10am- 11am

Age group : For children aged 1.5 (walking age) to 4 years old and their accompanying adult.

Cost : 75 € for 6 weeks -  Individual dates 15 € (subject to availability)
Discount of 50% for additional siblings. Younger (non-walking) siblings welcome free of charge.

What to expect : We meet at 10 am in Jenkinstown Wood car park and walk up to our site, about 3 min walk. The path is accessible for buggies. The session begins with a circle time followed by options to make nature crafts, free play, climb on ropes, observe plants and animals, relax in the hammocks or play in the mud kitchen. Participants can take part in whatever they choose, at their own pace. We finish up with a warm drink and a story or song.

What to wear and bring : Waterproofs, warm layer, long sleeves and trousers. Bring spare clothes and whatever food/drink your child needs.

Please note that pets aren't allowed at the session. The car park is free. Toilets and handwashing facilities are available at the park entrance.

Places are limited. All children are under the responsibility of their adult for the duration of the session. Booking closes 24h ahead of the event.
